Accompany - Common Usage?

Hello. I just started studying Cebuano via memrise.com, and one of the words that I have to learn is 'accompany'. Unfortunately, there are several examples listed for this particular flashcard, so I would like to know which ones (if any) are more commonly used by native speakers, in lieu of learning them all:

Duyog(v.); Pagduyog(v.); kuyog(v.); Pagkuyog(v.); Sabay(v.); Mouban(v.); Uban(v.); Ubanan(v.)

That said, if this word is not commonly used in the first place, I would like to know that as well. For example, in English, we will not usually say 'accompany'...instead, we will say 'go/going/went with' in day-to-day converstations.

Thanks!

Accompany (in context)

Accompany can be used in different contexts. If the context used is to go with someone somewhere, then you can use kuyog(v.); Sabay(v.); Uban(v.). These words are in their rootword form.

E.g. Maria will accompany Jose to the hospital.

Translation: Kuyogan/Sabayan/Ubanan ni Maria si Jose sa hospital.

The verb kuyog/sabay/uban has the suffix "an" to indicate the verb in future tense.

However, if the context used is for example, in reference to playing music, then you can use: Duyog(v.) This is also in its rootword form.

E.g. Jose will accompany Maria's singing by playing the guitar.

Translation: Duyogan ni Jose ang pagkanta ni Maria pinaagi sa pagtukar sa gitara.

duyogan (future tense of the verb duyog): will accompany

pagkanta ni Maria: Maria's singing

pinaagi: by

playing the guitar: pagtukar sa gitara
